 we have been learning about how society shapes our lives as individuals. As a healthcare professional, understanding these connections is important because society can greatly affect our health. For this assignment, choose one major health issue that is common in the U.S. and reflect on how society has an impact on your chosen health issue. 

In a 1-page reflection, address the following: 

• Identify the health issue you are choosing for this assignment. 
• Explain how an understanding of society and its influence on individuals helps us understand this health issue. Be sure to integrate one or more course concepts.
