To conduct literature research for my study, I have thoroughly examined two reputable databases: Medline and PubMed. I have employed the study papers accessible on these databases as they are dependable and genuine. Both databases provide a vast repository of evidence-based research publications covering various themes in the disciplines of medicine and biomedicine. These databases allow researchers to exclude publications based on their publication dates. Academic scholars often require access to data found in recently published scientific journal papers (Oermann et al., 2021). To fulfill this need, the search engine might be enhanced by incorporating a publication year filter. I have specifically chosen research publications from the past five years for the literature section of my thesis. These databases employ powerful algorithms to refine keyword searches in order to assist scholars in their studies. By utilizing carefully selected keywords derived from the study issue statement, it is possible to locate very specialized and relevant articles from a wide range of data sources on the same subject. The keywords for my change project include virtual reality simulation, conventional simulation, nursing, nursing students, and clinical practice. These keywords have assisted me in refining my literature study. Furthermore, alternative methods for indicating directions, such as “AND” and “OR,” enable us to enhance the precision of keyword searches. Additionally, we have the option to implement filters based on the specific type of study we wish to look for, such as systematic reviews, meta-analyses, or observational studies (Oermann et al., 2021). The database filters have enhanced my ability to locate the books I need more efficiently. PubMed and Medline are worldwide recognized for their validity, as they only include papers from reputable journals with significant impact factors. CDC, BMC, NCBI, and ELSEVIER are reputable and trustworthy publications. If an article is published in one of these journals, it has previously undergone evaluation for validity and may be considered reliable for usage. One further justification for utilizing PubMed and Medline especially for article selection is their status as open sources, which may be freely accessible. Furthermore, these databases are specifically tailored for the medical profession.
