professionalism, and compassion for the ill. Write a 2-3 page essay (excluding the cover page). It should be typed
using 12-point font, double-spaced, a minimum 500 words and no more than 1500 words. Be sure to address each
question below in detail:
Share your experiences in nursing and how it relates to the role of the Doctor of Nursing Practice. Please include your
own personal values, previous experiences, and future goals.

Describe your expertise in a specific field of study (nursing, patient care, etc.).

Describe your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a Doctor of
Nursing Practice to include the scope of practice.
3.
Discuss your professional goals and how a DNP Degree will help you achieve your goals.
4.
Describe why West Coast University’s DNP program is the best program to help you
achieve your academic goals.
