Persuasive Speech Topic & Thesis Statement

Select a topic for your 5-6-minute persuasive speech. I encourage you to use the same topic for this speech as you did for your informative speech. Now that it’s time for the persuasive speech you will put a persuasive spin on the informative speech topic (e.g., informative topic: vegan diet; persuasive topic: adopt a vegan diet). This approach will allow you to build on the research you’ve already done. The speech is only 5-6 minutes in length, which means you have to be very specific about what your speech’s aim is.
